Two weeks ago I was diagnosed with cervical adenocarcinoma after an abnormal pap and then biopsy. Last week I had a LEEP. The oncologist cut out a large area. He said it looked pretty invasive and bled a lot (vascularized).

My husband used to be a lab tech and said that our "insides" are full of natural bacteria and having the LEEP would probably upset the natural environment. ... hmm, well the Monsel soultion (brown stuff they used to stop bleeding) has a bit of unusual smell... not foul by any means.
Anxious, I second that - call the doctor ASAP, you'll probably just need some antiboitics for infection, and it will be all good. I know that some docs even prescribe antiobiotic for post/LEEP right away, esp. if someone is prone to infection.
