... Oxymorphone (Opana) has a low oral bioavailability at around 10%, very low. Which means when taken orally oxymorphone is poorly absorbed. Some people I am sure find it works for them and may also have a slightly higher absortpion rate, but the average person is around 10%. ... I think IR oxycodone in the US is avaliable in tablets as strong as 30mg - that should be a satisfactory sunstitute for virtualy any dose of oxycontin. Trying the MSContin wint an antiemetic might be worth a try, speak to your doctor about it. (21 replies)
... opana er takes every single ounce of my pain away. I did have about 2 days where i was sicker than a dog, but after that I was fine and wonderful. I am on opana 30mg er, twice a day.
