... I know this past week I thought I was going to die from constipation. I just kept taking stool softeners every night and eating fiber and finally had a little relief. ... My mood was just the opposite of what it should have been. I was euphoric taking any opiod (I thought I was Superman), and it felt great. I had to get off of it because I abused it and had paradoxical side effects. (24 replies)
... I use psycillium husk fiber, will that be a problem if I also try the miralax? I have another concern, which may be harder to resolve, and that is that my mood seems depressed much more since I started back on oxycontin, 20mg twice a day, than it was when taking norco (hydrocodone 10/325) five times a day. Has anyone else had a reaction like that, or am I placing the blame on... (24 replies)

... Wren, Opioids are some of the safest medications available. The full agonists, meaning those with no tylenol or aspirin or anything else added, cause no organ damage at all. Tylenol, on the other hand, can cause liver damage if taken in excess. The maximum one can take in a day is 4,000mg. If taken chronically, many docs like to see that number dropped to 3,000mg... ... Hey Trow, Acurately detecting Oxy requires the right test, not just a standard 5 panel or 7 panel UA, A test that detetcts the metabolites from morphine, Heroin and codien won't neccesarrily detect Oxycodone, particularly at lower doses where paramter ranges haven't been met . The most acuarate will test down to 150ng per ml of urine but that still excludes lower dose... (7 replies)
