If it was long vs. short acting, then they would have tried you on a long acting med. ... Just FYI but Norco is Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen....and Percocet is Oxycodone and Acetaminophen... So...they are two completely different medications..On the scale of medications as far as strength goes...Oxycodone is stronger than Hydrocodone.
