... I have a question guys: I was on Oxycodone, 30mg a pop for pain as needed. I found that while it helped, it wasn't quite enough to relieve all my pain. The bigger problem that I had was that for extreme breakthrough pain (and for when I woke up in the morning), the pill would take up to an hour to take effect! When a hip pops out of socket, you don't want to wait an hour... (6 replies)
... Doc didn't think I called bacause it was a short call and why would she refuse to order so it made me look like I was telling him what I wanted so he wrote the dilaudid but only 120 which is 4x a day so my dosage has basically been cut in half. ... Yeah I know Ex, I should know better than posting this question. If anyone can understand what works for one does not mean anything for it working for another person, that would be me. SO asking is really pointless. (6 replies)

... Thanks, your posts are always so well written and informative. As good as my pain doctor is, he's also very strict in terms of refills, pill counts, UAs and things of that nature. I'm sure 99 percent of that is the DEA though, I read an article recently about people paying 6 bucks a piece for the pills I am on, heartbreaking really. Not only are they hurting themselves,... ... Ex has does some excellent research on Opana and posted in another thread about the different types of receptors, including the Mu1 which Opana is not supposed to effect.
