... I found out last year, when I waited too long to fill a Klonipin Rx (a triplicate Rx--Schedule II?), that one month was the limit. So--I had to get another prescription. Incidentally, I was also told, about 5 years ago, that you can get an Rx 5 days early--but it was a Vicodin Rx on a regular prescription pad--not a triplicate. ... I often do what jonnstar said. Narcotic meds like Percocet, Vicodin, and Norco contain the narcotic agent and then also Tylenol. Tylenol is a pain blocker while NSAIDs like Aspirin, Advil (ibuprofen) and Aleve (naproxen) are anti inflammatories and in a total different class than Tylenol. I am a wee bothered by this post, by stating that the doc is probably going overboard with this person's prescriptions. Doc's do what they do for a reason, and yes, sometimes they make mistakes, but it isn't necessarily true that doc's lower higher mg pain meds. Docs... (20 replies)
