... ics are assuredly not equal to the brand name in certain meds and I have to figure that is true with Oxycontin. But yet most pharmacies in my area only stock the Endo so it took a bit of research to find one who had the brand. But dont give up it as it does work well in controlling the pain, at least in my case. ... (9 replies)

... Marcia, I wasn't on insurance at the time, and simply could not afford the NB. The generic was costly itself. I'm on a fentanyl 25mcg patch now, with percs just upped to 7.5 for breakthrough pain. I'm already switching around other meds, so for right now I will probably stick to those. ... Thanks for the reply. About my ins coverage, I much rather just go and have a $10 co pay and get my meds right there on the spot. My mother and father's ins is $10 generic, $40 for brand. If there is no generic, and they therefore aren't choosing the brand, but have no choice, I think its only a $25 co pay (because I dropped off a script of Ambien CR for my mom last week,and...
