... Welcome! Sorry you are going through this. I've been though a similar bad med switch (from Methadone to Oxycodone to Suboxone back to Methadone) with extended withdrawal. Unfortunately the conversion of opioid pain meds is quite variable, so doctors usually err on the cautious side, which often throws us into withdrawal. Oxycodone which is a base medicine used to make oxycontin, percocet, roxicodone is a codine based medicine meprozine is in the demerol family but never did anything for me in fact demerol does nothing for me even when I have recieved it intravenasly.
