... what is the med? if its an antidepressant I think it risky in your oresent state calming down by staying near a hospital is common, some just sit in the waiting room your problem is probably hypochondria, out bodies work best when ignored, a good doc will be able to reassure you re your health and stop lots of your worries, the pounding heart is common for anxiety... ... anxiety sufferers often have problems with the early side effects of these antidepressant meds, some docs and psychs dont know this sadly, some know but ignore it if going thru an anxious or stressful period its best to rely on valium type meds and maybe start the antidepressant later when things are more calm, IMO huge amounts of money are spent advertising... ... to 468, HI, yes it could well all be coming from anxiety, you could have a panic state the best treatment is large doses of xanax or any other valium type med for a while, if you have ordinary xanax this only lasts a few hours and a high dose would pronbably be needed zoloft is an antidepressant that may well eventually help but these meds often make anxiety sufferers...
