... For me, I take a beta blocker mainly for generalized anxiety disorder. My heart is always going too fast especially at night. I'm not sure if it helps for panic disorder type stuff. Maybe it would help prevent panic attacks? ... (16 replies)

... i just starting taking toprol for hypertension and my pdoc said it would help with my panic attacks. i already take klonopin for panic disorder. so we will see if it helps. both my pdoc and internal dr think it will. good luck to you. ... (8 replies)
