... Hi, Like Kaley said, this definatly sounds like tension. I have this symptom, as well. I used to get stabbing pains in between my shoulder blades along with chest pressure and think I was having a heart attack. I saw my Dr. several times about this and he reassured me it was all caused by muscle tension. It's scary how anxiety can mimic so many serious illnesses. hilery (4 replies)
... I know exactly what you are going through and it is all caused by tension. When you become tense all those muscles tense up and it is straining your upper back , shoulders, and neck.
