... Thank you for your reply's, I have been seeing someone for the last 5 years or so been on every med you can think of, the only one that helped in the end was lexapro and that is what I am on now, upping my dose to 15mg. klonopin and xanax don't do jack for me. ... (5 replies)

Hi chupa, lexapro and zoloft are both very similar, both prozac type meds as mentioned they take 2 to 6 weeks to work properly, if you continue to have no side effects, this suggests upping the dose a bit with docs OK, assuming you are now on a low starting dose xanax, if you can get any, helps until the antidepressant starts working properly (8 replies)

I was recently having bad anxiety attacks after 7 years and so my doc changed the prozac to lexapro but he also increased the xanax in which i have been on since the diagnois 7 years ago.
