Tolerance starts to creep in when you take the same dose daily. ... but Wellbutrin is not really used much for panic disorder. It's more for just the depression. I think your doctor has you on Klonopin for long term relief and Xanax for acute attacks. I tried Wellbutrin by itself and it didn't help. Maybe try an SSRI with it? ... (22 replies)

... sed diazepam and oxazepam in he past with no issues of dependency, and I dont like the "stoned" feeling strong pain killers give. Also, I would probably use the xanax periodicaly, use it for a few weeks when the symptoms peak, then tail it off when they abate. ... (8 replies)

... tidepressants in general can have some unpleasant side effects. 50 mgs of Zoloft is a relatively low dose, as 100 mgs is the usual therapeutic dose for anxiety, depression and OCD. I took Zoloft for many years at 100 mgs daily. I would say that the Xanax has more potential for harm, as it can be very addictive if taken long term. ... (3 replies)

... Well, my opinion..... I think you should consider trying another SSRI in combination with your xanax. Or condider changing to Klonopin. Klonopin lasts longer in your bodu therefore taking less each day. I too could never take SSRI as I had bad reactions in the past.
