... mine is an uncontrollable urge to move my legs while I am still ,sometimes with crawling sensations and feeling as though I have on hose , somtimes lying still at night I get a jerking which can be felt on any part of my body my neurologist treats mine so, I guess its neurological, I was diagnosed when I had a sleep study , these are by doctors that specialize in sleep... ... What is your body type? If you are of large body - have you been tested for sleep apnea? You could be jerking yourself awake when you stop breathing for certain lengths (long) of time while asleep. It is documented that patients with sleep apnea have RLS and vice versa. I do.
