Yes, definitely check with your doctor but do read the Lyme Boards before you see him/her. Few doctors have the knowledge and experience to diagnose lyme. Now to my post. I have been through decades of severe lumbar pain and RLS (so severe I was ready to eat a bullet, but I am a Christian so that was out). I tried ropinerole and sinemet, both of which worked, but only for a few hours so there was no such thing as a good nights sleep.

... oes help the RLS some. That is the lowest dose, but I can't take 300mg as it makes me too groggy in AM. It is an anticonvulsant, and is used a lot for neuropathy pain as well.
