... Doesn't sound like the Requip suits you. Reading this healthboard I've noticed that nobody else takes Clonazepam yet it's the only thing that's ever realy worked for me. It's an anticonvulsant that is used at much hugher doses to control epilepsy. Give it a try. It doesn't seem to have any side effects. Good luck. (12 replies)

... According to the doctor who originally gave me the Rx for Klonopin (1985?), it was developed for children with epilepsy, which is why it is so useful in RLS. I don't think those of us who use it are addicted to it, but depend upon it the way a diabetic depends upon insulin, or a patient with GERD (gastric reflux) depends upon Prevacid or Prilosec.
