SweetPeainSF, I had several of the SGB, tried cymbalta(caused heart to race & terrible headache),Lyrica(helped with pain but blistered only left side of tongue) so my Dr told me not to take it, neurotin( no relief) hydrocodone 10mg(didn't help), I was told there was nothing else to try. ... pain management doctor who totally explained the condition to me. I am doing the lidocain patches as well as the cream. She also put me on Naproxin and Neurotin. Neurotin is a medication that works with the nerves in the brain. It is a seizure medication but it also is a drug of choice for this condition. ... (36 replies)

Cymbalta for CRPS?

... I guess the grass is always greener! I have the beast in my right arm and I kept thinking I wish it was just my right foot, then at least I know that once again I can hold down a fulltime job. ... Sounds like your Dr. may not want to admit he made a mistake. My RSD started with cysts, my ortho refused to operate because he said it would not be worth the nerve damage it would cause. Obivously I don't know your entire situation-so I don't know where your cysts were located-I had three. My RSD exploded when I had my second cortisone shot then wearing a brace and icing. I...
