... So sorry to here about the failure of the snb. I won't have another block. I have had severe headaches nonstop since I had the block. Dr are saying its not from snb. I'm not buying it. I've never had headaches before. I can't even lay my head on a pillow. Yesterday I saw my first neurologist. He ordered four mri to be done ASAP. I deal with workers comp so that may or may not... SweetPeainSF, I had several of the SGB, tried cymbalta(caused heart to race & terrible headache),Lyrica(helped with pain but blistered only left side of tongue) so my Dr told me not to take it, neurotin( no relief) hydrocodone 10mg(didn't help), I was told there was nothing else to try. ... pain management doctor who totally explained the condition to me. I am doing the lidocain patches as well as the cream. She also put me on Naproxin and Neurotin. Neurotin is a medication that works with the nerves in the brain. It is a seizure medication but it also is a drug of choice for this condition. ... (36 replies)

Cymbalta for CRPS?

... I guess the grass is always greener! I have the beast in my right arm and I kept thinking I wish it was just my right foot, then at least I know that once again I can hold down a fulltime job. I am very glad these questions, just started Cymbalta and generic Neurotin 30 days ago, my fire went out within 48 hours and even the orginal injury of tendonitis started feeling better,... ... Sounds like your Dr. may not want to admit he made a mistake. My RSD started with cysts, my ortho refused to operate because he said it would not be worth the nerve damage it would cause. Obivously I don't know your entire situation-so I don't know where your cysts were located-I had three. My RSD exploded when I had my second cortisone shot then wearing a brace and icing. I... ... So it was confirmed the PM Dr. agreed I do have the RSD. Trying some medications Cymbalta and Neurotin, they are making me feel light headed but instantly stopped the burning and crazy nerve pain. Still have pain from the orginal injury in my thumb and elbow. Thanks, J (9 replies)
