... Hi there, I have Periodic Leg Movement Disorder, which not only includes twitching, but kicking, too. I had a sleep test done, and I kick/twitch, on average, 56 times per hour (!!). I am currently trying to find a medication that works, because my husband is about ready to sleep in another bed, it's so bad. So, to answer your question, I believe you can twitch at any time...
