... WOW JDBennett - sorry you had such a rough time coming off the Chantix. I didn't really taper down I guess, I think I forgot one pill one day, out of the two, so the next day I just took one, then I forgot to even take the one pill the next day, so I just quit taking them altogether. ... Some of the nicotine withdrawal and the Chantix side effects are the same. The brain fog is a common side effect that is not listed on the Chantix. Most of the withdrawal symptoms go away after a couple of weeks. ... (46 replies)
