... I'm just wondering, because I've never heard of the patch causing sore muscles and aching like that. A rash, yes, but it would most likely be around and underneath where the patch was applied. ... (3 replies)

I was actually looking around on the thyroid post and saw a post by "hopetofeelwell1" and found it interesting that she quit smoking and then had thyroid problems. ... Jane... I jusr reread your posts. Four months is a long time to continue having those symptoms, so I'm sure the nicotene has left your body, by now. Tingling in the hands (and anywhere) along with shortness of breath, depression and anxiety, all can be symptoms of hypothyroid. The tingling is a very common symptom. One month today!

... But now I can wear it, with pride! The first 2 weeks I quit, I wore the patch. Well, it was summer and hot, so I was always in sleeveless clothes. I wore the patch on my upper arm.
