... The worst the surgery will do is leave you with the same amount of pain but stop the advancement of nerve damage. You do have a slight chance of paralysis from the surgery and they should have told you that but it is very low for an ACDF. ... (11 replies)

... I went for my 2-month post-op visit today and my NS says I'm doing great! He recommended some PT for some minor neck pain, that's all... One problem I do have is elbow pain in my left arm -- the NS says I'm showing symptoms of "tennis elbow". It hurts to pick up things, even a soft drink, with my left arm, and also hurts to straighten my arm out. I never had pain... (2 replies)
