... Can't help you out with those treatments, however I would strongly suggest you closely monitor your condition. I, too, had discs pressing into the spinal cord with some severe side effects (searing burning pain, arm and hand pain/numbness, weakness, etc). Hi Sandy, first having a positive mind set is very important, I was also scared(its major surgery) but at the same time I looked forward to the surgery and it did take that deep throbbing pain away somewhat(since aug/07).
