My TSH has gone down in the last year (1.74 in June 2010, to 1.54 in March 2011), and since my Free T4 was techinically outside of the range, she ran that again. ... Get yourself tested for Celiac. Celiac goes hand in Hand with Hashimoto's which may be causing your Hypothyroidism. IBS is many times Celiac and is misdiagnoised. If you have Celiac you will have malabsorption and diarrhea. ... (7 replies)

... I do. I think it was my reply in a post not long ago. I have primarily IBS-C. Gets worse when thyroid meds are out of balance. I am able to control it quite well through diet adjstments and exercise but it still gets to me every once in a while with no warning. Chamomile tea and good whole grain cereals help me - oatmeal is a miracle food for me. Blessings - jrose (10 replies)
