Your nodule is very large. A biopsy on a nodule that size could never be 100% conclusive... Although the chances of it being cancer are very low.

... Looks like thyroid nodule, not cancer, that's degenerating, basically forming a cyst.
'degenerated hemosiderin-laden macrophages', these are white blood cells that clean up old blood. Probably you had recent bleeding into the cystic part of your nodule and maybe why you have the choking feeling. Though your nodule is small, there are nerves all over the place in your neck....
