... I have been hypothyroid since 1997. I was on 112 Synthroid until 2010. All of a sudden I went hyperthyroid in 2010 and was diagnosed as with Hashimotos. My Synthroid was lowered to 100 then 88. Since that time myTSH has been on the high side and every time I increase my dose to 100 I feel anxiety and insomnia after 6 - 7 weeks so I have been alternating between 88 and 100 .-... (0 replies)
... You need treatment for hypothyroidism. Your TSH is undoubtedly above the normal reference range, and that's worthy of treatment. High TSH means your free level of T4 is very likely far too low, and that would cause the symptoms you're having. Did you even have a free T4 test done? ... (7 replies)
