... NEVER DOUBLE YOUR THYROID HORMONE DOSE!!! Your Thyroid is a very sensitive gland & takes awhile to respond to changes in hormone dosages. Thyroid hormone is measured in micrograms (mcg) not milligrams (mg). Sometimes it takes very little to regulate it.
