I had MANY issues with my thyroid for many years before my surgery. The worst, of course, was the choking feeling that I had. I could not sleep well because I could not breathe. I would say the next worse thing were the mood swings. I was all over the place...up, down, up, up, down and this might of been because I was exhausted all of the time.
