If you are clencher you should try asking your dentist to make a custom night gaurd for you to wear at night - this won't prevent you from clenching but will cushion the impact on your joints. ... I'm really surprised that if your jaw weren't positioned correctly, you didn't have pain of some sort. Perhaps you do need a repositioning splint to correct that. It seems as though with TMJD, you must look at all possibilities. My son had the same as you, regarding the tinnitus and ear fullness.
