... MJ surgeries would have "probably" worked but I had too many other things going on. Yep, my back surgery ruined my TMJ joint, can't blame it on the fact that the Christensen implant CANNOT withstand the load of the jaw joint and should never have been used in the first place. ... (2 replies)

... Bradford and saw a mr Carol he was really nice but i think hes retiring soon and was'nt sure how to deal with my case. I was then sent to Liverpool who only use Christensen joints But a lady i chat to in birmingham told me that her dr was changing to Concepts as a few of his patients regected the joint. ... ... surgery in 97 I was a real mess. There is a term for it, I don't know what it is called but my mandible was actually fused to my skull. My surgeon said I had the jaw of a 90 year old and he didn't know how I had functioned. Funny thing, is how many others have been told the same thing. ... (16 replies)
... Here is a very informative list. I was told that the Christensen implant was going to correct a lot of these problems. Needless to say, it created several of these problems....but didn't correct any of the initial ones. ... (4 replies)
