... top of my head, based only on my own experience, but I'm guessing it's to do with muscle spasm or swelling coming from the jaw area causing the blockage problem in the first place. If you pour stuff in to your ears it may clear some of what's in there, but then 'upset' the muscles, causing further pressure. ... (1 replies)
