... Hi Arleen & Lucy, Getting an "official" diagnosis of TMJ can - believe it or not - actually be "uplifting". Finally, one can give a name to the condition!! Once you know what you have, at least a little of the stress is relieved. Then you're able to focus your efforts on obtaining treatment for the condition, instead of worrying about what it is.
