... RigginPD and Laurin, Have you met with an ENT or Neurotologist? Sounds too familiar to me; I have positional vertigo. Even if you're issue isn't entirely due to head position, you could be getting secondary issues with your inner ear. ... Have you ever been to a tmj dentist? If I am not mistaken there is supposedly a very good dental university in northern Florida that deals with tmj and myofacial pain syndrome. The dizziness and lightheaded feeling can defintely be related to tmj/neck problems. Several years ago after having some major dental reconstruction I experienced symptoms such as you describe but...
