... I have the swollen lymph nodes as well that don't seem to go away. I had them tested & all the doctors I've seen about it said it's nothing serious. I had a CT Scan done on them as well & it turned out that it was nothing serious. I just don't get why they don't go away though & if it's connected in some way with some sort of TMJ issue. ... It's actually a more solid feeling and the area protrudes as you mention. If I can work my neck, shoulder blades sometimes the solid area relaxes instantly. There is also a "puffiness" to the whole area which I believe is fluid retention. Sometimes this puffiness is more obvious and other days seems to be almost gone but it always returns. Facial swelling?
