... Hi Linda, I'm sorry for your suffering. Hopefully, the bleeding will prove to be nothing serious. Since you have a prolapsed uterus, your bladder and urethra may also be prolapsed which may be the cause of the bleeding as well as the UTI's. Typically though bleeding after menopause is investigated with an ultrasound of the uterine lining and/or an endometrial biopsy. I read... (4 replies)

I just had a endometrial biopsy and they vacuumed the cells out..I also had a vaginal ultrasound where they inject saline in and look at the lining of the uterus and everything looked okay..they can also look at it in 3D and it was not built up and looked healthy..but I still am having bleeding on and off. ...
