... THANKS for your replies. The ultrasound detected adenomyosis along with the 3 fibroids I already knew about from 6 years ago that have not grown. And she is recommending a hysterectomy, but she wants me to take care of the GI issues first. My upper GI series is tomorrow. ... Getting the ultrasound is an excellent start. You may have fibroids..they can cause pain and bleeding. Dont know how old you are but getting a hormone test might be a good idea as well. Don't panic. I know.. hard not to do. The ultrasound will give you some good info about the thickness of the endometrial lining and if there are fibroids. There a plenty of reasons that all... Saw the GYN yesterday and during her exam she touched something that made me come off the table and it has been killing me ever since. And the bleeding is heavier. ... It's a very good thing that you are going in for a colonsocopy and endoscopy, but I'd make an appt. with your gyno. as well., for a pelvic and vaginal ultrasound. Any blood, from the vagina (aside from your period) or rectum should never be ignored. The fact that you've stayed on top of all your annual pap smears makes me think the bleeding could be uterine related. It... (5 replies)
