I have had problems with vaginal burning, urination burning for nearly 2 years. I am 21 years old and am on Birth Control (I tried coming off it for 6 months with no difference)

After all the tests you can possibly imagine, and even a skin biopsy, which everything being frustratingly 'normal'... I eventually convince the docs to give me a hormone test, which produced an abnormal result.

Everything was normal apart from my Oestradiol (Estradiol) levels. I have not had a chance to speak to a doc about the results yet and it may be a while as it's Christmas but the note attached said I was low in Estradiol and I'm trying to do my own research.

The result came back as < 50 pmol/L and it was Day 4 of my cycle when the test was done (Follicular)

I just can't seem to find much on the net about these levels for research purposes. There are plenty with the pg/ml readings, which I believe is American, and when I convert it to this reading it comes out as < 13.6 pg/ml which is incredibly low as apparently menopausal readings are between 10 and 20 pg/ml.

Have I got this right? Are my estrogen levels THAT bad? Should I start using Estrogen cream?
