... Thanks eaker, I hope your feeling a little better today. I believe my ablation will be done via hysteroscopy (which ive had done before) Im just hoping it works. Did they put you on any hormones prior to your surgery? Ive been takin progesterone and its messed my cycle up completely (ive eventually stopped bleeding after 18 days). ... I was given this for excessive bleeding after a D&C and hysteroscopy. Took 3 a day for the first day, then 2 a day for the next 3, then one a day until they are gone. They have slowed it down, but definitely hasn't stopped it. I have come to the conclusion that this whole being a woman thing is stupid :) Thank you very much for your reply wilberry! (4 replies)

... I am 59 and recently had surgery for a thickened uterine lining and polyp. First I'd had a hysteroscopy (camera) with local anaesthetic I was told some polyps can be removed during that procedure and some can't. He was unable to remove mine. Biopsies were taken and surgery scheduled, I only received the biopsy results after the surgery (clear, thankfully) I recovered well... (1 replies)

... Thanks for your reply, well they did do it today, they removed a polyps actually, I thought it was a fibroid but I guess its same thing, mine was on outside as well. It was not that bad actually, I get like a period type pain now thats all.
