... You could be in perimenopause when the menstrual cycle tends to go whacky and the lining tends to build which can make for some long, heavy bleeding. Of course, it is good to make sure nothing serious is going on. For one, catching abnormalities sooner makes for a greater chance that less invasive treatments are effective.
