... Dear reavin9x; I tappered off of 600mg Zantac. I did it by dropping 1/2 of a 75mg pill per week. Occassionally, I would get bad symptoms (heartburn) for a while after some decreases. Other times, it went quietly. One reduction, I had terrible heartburn for a week and a half. I was tempted to increase my dosage, but I'm glad I didn't and waited it out. Do try the DGL....
