... Sorry, thats what I meant, that I have hyperacidity because of coming off ppis, not that I think I have an underlying condition where the body produces too much acid. I've only had it since trying to come off ppis and is directly related to how much i reduce by each time. (19 replies)

... Well, I had my barium swallow done this morning. The test went well despite having to drink that nasty barium solution throughout the the testing. The doctor said that he saw very little reflux, no hiatal hernia (which I did have pre-surgery), and there is nothing caught in my esophagus. Everything looks good and the wrap is well intact.
