... riggio, you really need to see a GI doctor...that acid that comes back up can do damage to your esophagus; without treatment it can lead to serious problems. Go see a gastroenterologist - a GI doctor... and talk to them about what you are experiencing. They can test you to see how much damage has already been done and put you on meds to prevent further damage. (3 replies)
... I've got a tiny hiatal hernia myself (diagnosed via barium swallow circa 2017), and honestly, getting tested is the only way you'll know for sure. Mine doesn't present any problems, or if it does, they're remedied in the process of treating my other health maladies.
