... Thanks pazshalom but I am not going cold turkey per se. Wish I could. I'm trying to take as little as possible re ppi's and replacing it as necessary with H2 blockers. I hope that's a reasonable approach. ... (206 replies)

... Zantac or Pepcid or Tums to get through the rebound. Once you get through it, you shouldn't need them anymore. Some discomfort is OK, but you don't want to go cold turkey through severe pain, since that will just irritate your digestive tract more. ... (11 replies)
