They really make a difference: iodine (Lugol's), zinc picolinate and magnesium in form of CALM from health food store. Do some research, books or internet and see what you can find. I'm no expert on this, but maybe it's a viscous circle where you need to eat vegetables to get better, but you won't eat vegetables as you're not better.
