Hi. Whiteheads are different than regular pimples as a white head is essentially trapped oil under the skin in the pore. Using Ice isnt the best thing for a white head and it works much better on redness or a cystic type pimple.

Try applying heat, a hot washcloth or even steaming your face for a few minutes; heat opens up the pores and allows things to surface. Dont squeeze it. You risk having not only a scar, but you will also spread the bacteria to other pores. Instead, keep using the warm compress a few days, only once or twice a day, it will help the whitehead surface to where it can easily be extracted. You can also go see a facialist to have them work on it. A professional facial will include steam directed directly to the area which needs help.

When you get a bump under the skin which is red or sore, ice is great. It takes down the redness and the swelling and allows you to cover it with makeup, but remember that this is not a cure....the problem is deep in the skin and is caused by bacteria.

Sebogel is a great product but does not have strong enough salacylic acid in it for real acne; it will help prevent new acne if used regularly. You may want to consult a dermatologist for something stronger for spot treatment.

Best of luck!

Thank you, I will try warm compress but doing warm compress will even end that small bump? And what will happen if I leave my pimple as it is? How much time will it take then?
