Hello koshechka and black_eyes,
Although many people claim to say that diet does not cause acne, I firmly believe that it can make acne better. I am super-careful about my diet. My current diet is exactly the same as before I moved to U.S and BELIEVE me my skin is much much better. I will learn more about the anti-candida diet although I am not planning to eliminate gluten from my diet because I am a vegetarian and if I cut down on pasta and bread, I basically become an anorexic. The most important thing is balance. I avoid eating cereals and that seemed to help. Also the most important thing is olive oil. I cook everything with olive oil. When I wasa kid, my dad would make me wash my face with olive oil because it is so good for skin. You can try olive oil soaps too. But my advice is to use it in your salad and meals. A light one-not extra virgin- could easily replace canola oil. As for yogurt, I am on the same page as you guys. It is very very helpful. I eat it at least once a day. You can use it as a dressing-dilute with water- add herbs, garlic, or simply with crackers, rice, pasta, anything you like. I feel like going back to the way I used to eat before I moved to U.S -4 years ago- is a solution for my acne, yeast infections and low energy.
As for BCP, I know that it may cause candida, but I need them to regulate my periods, plus contraception. I am considering ordering Diane-35 online ina couple of months after I get people's opinions on it.
