first of all, when you guys say you're taking 10 grams, do you really mean 10 grams, or 10 mg?

After I got my skin under control from a bad shampoo causing my one or two pimples to turn into serious acne, I decided to try b5 to get rid of my usual very very mild acne.

I started out a little over a month ago with a good balanced multivitamin with 20mg of b5, within a few days my skin was totally clear. However, I missed a dose on the big day before my period when my hormones are really flaring and I usually break out the worst, and my skin flared up really badly with cysts.. which I usually don't get at all. After about a week the big flare up was gone but I was still breaking out worse than usual. Everything was healing alot faster and clearing up faster, but still the breakouts were there. So I kicked up the dose of b5 with a B complex.

I've been taking 70mg of b5 for about three weeks, and still I'm not seeing the results I did originally. Not even a slow down or really a significant change other than the healing. Could this be some kind of extended initial breakout period, and if so why wouldn't I have just broken out in the first place, instead of getting clear first and then worse? How much should I be taking, and would taking more make a difference, or be totally unnecisary?
