I think that carrot juice may be quite beneficial for skin. I have been drinking carrot juice for the last month and am very happy with the progress so far. While my skin is not perfectly clear yet, I notice marked improvement. My skin is much less greasy than it was before. A friend of mine had huge success with carrot juice, so I am giving it a try. Every day I juice the following: (all organic)

5-6 carrots
1/4 of a cucumber
small handfull of parsley
2 stalks of celery
1/4 of a beet

My friend told me that it would take a good month or two before I would see really noticible results. Just something I thought I would share. I am also taking 1 tbsp of flax seed oil daily, milk thistle (supports liver function), and vitamins E and C. I will keep you posted.
