LOL, you guys are a complete trip.

OK, now just for the sake of possibilities as to why changing my diet worked (once I found the right one), 6 months prior I did a partial Parasite Cleanse. It was a 30 day program, but I stopped after 15 days cuz i was afraid of seeing things (most should be microscopic). Then 1 month prior I did a Gallbladder/Liver Flush and expelled 100 stones. Neither of these times did I experience a detox breakout.

Currently I am following a Liver healing regimen that requires the use of Coptis and Chinese Bitters. I had to stop this past week though due to my monthly visitor (women cant' take during this time) but will be starting again tomorrow. So far, I haven't had any emotions come forth, but have actually just felt happier. Although that may have been due to the Spring Break effect so I will let you know next week if I'm that way again ;-)

In fear of the detox effects I started out taking 1/4 tsp and had no problems. So I worked my way up every few days until I was actually taking more than what others are on this regimen. So for now I take 1 tsp of Chinese Bitters in the morning and 1 tsp of Coptis at night and I still haven't experienced any detox effects.

Now, my take on detoxing effects is that it depends on:

1. How old you are
2. How much medication you've taken
3. How sick you are
4. How many symptoms you have
5. Your current diet

The above may dictate how likely you are to experience emotional purging, actually seeing parasites, or felling sick, nauseous, etc. This will also dictate how long you must follow the cleansing program, particularly the flushes. Some people must do a year's worth of flushes.

What I've noticed from the few I've spoke to, those with allergies and major food intolerances seem to have a worse time of it. Thankfully, those that are intolerant to practically every food, have found relief from doing these flushes. That might explain why misc. items like Fruits and nuts are no problem for Prometheus and a few others, while they are still a problem for me. In terms of my history, I've got hormonal symptoms, but very few allergies. Asthma once upon a time, allergic to Burmuda grass as child (still makes my skin itch), and used to get Sinus Headaches. I grew out of all of that, or maybe it all grew into a more severe form, that I like to call my hormonal imbalance ;-/

Anyway, as far as replacing the Good Bacteria go, you do have to be concerned with where it comes from. Now, I had my reservations about this product, but when I thought about it, it made a lot of sense. We consume soil organisms everyday, whenever we eat fruits and vegetables, particular those that grow in/on the ground. So you may want to either create your own natural good bacteria from [B]Cabbage Fermentation[/B], or you can try the more potent form of this by taking [B]Primal Defense[/B].

Primal Defense does contain grasses of grains that some of us are avoiding, but they swear it is gluten free. As long as they are using purely the sprouts and no seeds, it is safe for Celiacs or Gluten Intolerant, but it will not be safe for those that are allergic to Wheat. In fact, some Celiacs have used this with no problems, so I guess it is safe. Those that are following the above Liver Regimen and Flushing have found that they are less sensitive to certain foods (most still follow an avoidance or human diet) and absolutely love this product (it helped with constipation and eliminated some parasites). Also, this is Dairy free and GMO free. These are the ingredients:

14 strains of bacteria that are resistant to heat, stomach acid, chlorine, etc and 100% [I]bio-available [/I] [U]pre-digested [/U] Superfoods (Spirulina, Chlorella, Dunaliella, Kamut Grass*, Wheat Grass*, Barley Grass*, Oat Grass*, Alfalfa Grass*), Whole Food Blend containing PhytoSterols/Sterolins (Sweet Potato*, Flax Seed*, Sesame Seed*, Sunflower Seed*, Pumpkin Seed*, Ginger*), Ionic Plant Based Minerals.

In terms of superfoods, it does sound good. What really appeals to me though is the use of phytosterols. These are the things that act as cholesterol analogues, blocking their usage in the body, thus decreasing our cholesterol levels and also the creation of those hormones that love to give us acne! So if interested, surf around. The best price I found was $31.

Anyway, that's all I have for now. I personally did my liver flush using 100% Pink Grapefruit Juice & Extra Virgin Olive Oil (fruity). If you aren't hypoglycemic like I prob. am, you can use 100% Apple Juice instead of water with the Epsom Salts. I didn't know I was at the time and I think that's what caused me to pass out (otherwise everything went great, no pain). So definately be very careful and take precautions. I haven't read of anyone else passing out the next day, so it may have been the Apple juice or the fact that I skipped several meals before doing this Flush. The flush I followed called for skipping 1 meal, no more. There are programs that call for a 3 - 7 day juice fast and if you've noticed that you get light headed or sick if you go long periods without eating, you may want to avoid those. I don't always eat regularly due to my schedule and as a result, I've had 2 other occasions where I nearly passed out due to not eating something that day. Add to that the fact that I was on Spiro at the time (a blood pressure lowering drug) and well, 1 or all 3 of those could have been a factor for poor me. So definately pay attention the medication you are taking, but you are supposed to take these while doing the flush. If in doubt you may want to stop taking them a few days prior to the flush. ;-)
