I did 40mg / day for the first 2 weeks, just to see how things went. I noticed my face starting to change for the better but it was slower than it should have been. I decided to up the dosage to 60mg / day and it went really well. I think I had one or two minor break outs (2 or 3 pimples) but they went away quickly. I stayed on 60mg / day for 1.5 months and just bumped the dosage up to 80mg / day a few days ago. I noticed the dryness increasing in my skin and lips, but that's it. My face and body are just so super clear. I might get like a small pimple in the morning and it will be gone by nighttime... and I don't get anything ever really. I plan on doing 80mg / day only for a month, then I will go back to 60mg / day for 1.5 months and then 40mg / day for 2 weeks, then I will be done. I may change it a little bit, but this 'pyramid' type of treatment is great to gradually get my body used to the isotretinoin, max it out briefly, and slowly bring it back off. My acne was never really too bad, it just lingered for so long and the red marks would take forever to go away. So now I have flawless skin and am hoping things will stay this way indefinitely once I come off. I'm 21yrs old, 6'1" and 170lbs, just for reference. I am also pretty active running and lifting weights, my resting heart rate is 52 bpm, in case it matters at all lol.

So working out has no negative effect on your acne right? People say that working out causes acne to get worse. Hopefully not because I love working out. Also, in your case, have you noticed any breakouts from eating different foods or is your diet pretty strict?
