Agree with Needzhelp. It's not for serious active acne, but OK for minor acne (I had a few small pimples when I first used it and it cleared them up). It's not an overnight miracle. I've been using it together with Silkia camellia oil for over 7 months and have had fantastic results for getting rid of my fine lines, blackheads, red marks and reducing acne scar indents. My skin looks bright, clear and glowy. I use it twice a week and the 2oz jar still has 1/3 left after 7 months. :)

hey waterlily

I have some questions
first, you said that you have been taking it for over 7 months, but how long did it take before you finally started seeing results? I have been using it for almost two weeks, 3x a week, but I know its way too early to see start seeing results. Sometimes, it's so easy to fall into the feeling that "nothing's seems to be happening" or "this stuff isn't work" since you don't visually see results... yet. you know what i mean? I feel like that all the time. I'm so impatient.

Next, they say that we are supposed to keep rubbing until "eraser Peels" start coming off. My question is, are the peels that come off skin peels or just dried epidermx cream? sometimes, after rubbing for a while, i see peels coming off, but i don't know whether its really skin peels or just epidermx cream?

finally, do you think i could use any other mousterizer besides camellia oil. The epidermx is ok, but the camellia oil is probably a bit too oily for me. My face is clear and I don't have oily skin at all, but it seems that i get very small pimples from the camellia oil I am sure.

thx.
I first saw results in about a month, with the removal of blackheads (moderate) and a couple of small pimples. After two months, the red marks were considerably lightened and my face looked clear and brightened up.

You've been using it for only 2 weeks and it's true that it's too early. Just like anything else, not everyone will have the same results.

If the peels you see are grayish black, they are the dead skin. They come off mixed with the Epidermx crystals. If they're white, most probably they're the dried up Epidermx cream. I don't get dead skin come off every time, especially from the forehead. My dead skin usually clumps up on the cheeks and T-zone only.

You don't have to use the camellia oil. I use it because they say it's great for lines and acne scar indents, and I've found this to be true. If you have lines and indents, you can just apply the oil on those areas only and use your other moisturizer on the rest of your face.
I use it with the camellia oil an my skin is almost recovered. The red marks are fading very quickly but my scars are still present. I will definietely keep you guys updated!
My red marks faded in about 2 months, the scars (indents) has taken much longer. But they told me this is the way it is for indents. Using the silkia camellia oil in conjunction with it will speed up the process a bit.
My red marks were faded after 2 months. In less than 3 months my complexion was very clear.

As for breakouts, I've heard that some people did have an initial breakout from using the Epidermx. I guess it's a price to pay to have clear complexion in the long run. It surely helps prevent breakouts in the future becuase when your dead skin cells are sloughed off regularly, there's no more barrier there that acts to clog pores and trap oil/dirt underneath the skin that cause breakouts. I have much less breakouts since using it and the Silkia camellia oil (which balances oil production). I've noticed that the Silkia oil has helped a lot in healing my acne scar pits.
BUMP...
come on guys where are you??!!! hopefully epidermx had made your skin so beautiful that you no longer haunt this board like I do but spare a thought for the afflicted souls that you've left behind and pop back to post an update...please please please :D

Anyways I was just wondering if you have to use the Camellia oil or would Jojoba be a suitable substitute? How is it that the camellia oil helps with indents and is it available in stores or do I have to go online?

Thanks
hiya, i've been using epidermx since january mainly because i have large pores, get the odd small breakout and have oily skin. well it didn't help my breakouts at all, i still get those annoying 1 or 2 zits now and then but the uneven tone of my skin has gone, my pores have shrunk loads, and get this - a chicken pox scar i had on my forehead has improved dramatically (this is obviously after 4 months of at least twice weekly use). the scar is still very obviously there but its more shallow. i had chicken pox when i was 7 and i'm now 23!!!

my fresh red marks go very quickly with this stuff. i have a hypertrophic (red bump) scar which has gone down a lot but i've been using dermatix on that so i dont know if its that or the epidermx. i think to totally get rid of it it'll have to be lasered off.

oh and just to mention i haven't had those 1 or 2 zits i mentioned for about a week now cos i've been taking msm supplements. i read about them on here a while ago and thought i might as well try go through the last barrier and try whatever i can. my skin is also less greasy with it (a lot less). it does seem to interfere with my digestion a bit tho (sickness in the mornings) but i really don't care if thats the price to pay.

so right now i'm delirously happy with my skin, but i'm not getting too excited cos i've been in this situation before and had it bite me on my butt a few months later.

as for the camellia oil, well i only use it when i use the epidermx (twice a week) so i got no idea wether its that thats helping or what. as a moisturiser i use decleor's ylang ylang oil which regulates oil production quite alot. and a gentle cleanser so as not to exacerbate the oil production.

well good luck with all you guys trying this stuff or about to try it. i really wouldn't recommend using it on active acne though, it's more of a skin resurfacer than a zit treatment thing. any big zits i've had while i've used this stuff only made them worse to be honest.
My pits are not completely gone yet after over 8 months using the Epidermx and Silkia camellia oil. But they've been dramatically plumped up - about 75 to 80%. Progress has been slow but I'm patient and will stick with it (I can't afford other more expensive treatments).

I use the Epidermx twice a week and the Silkia camellia oil everyday, AM and PM. I think the oil has helped a lot with the pits. As for jojoba oil, I haven't heard it can help indents. So I'd rather stick with camellia oil. I got mine online.

I agree the Epidermx shouldn't be used if you have serious, active acne.
Thanks guys for replying

...at the moment I think i have my acne under control (fingers crossed) I have about 3 pimples at the moment (down from the usual 15 that I've had for the past month) so I think it's okay for me to use.

tiramisu (yum yum) i'm glad to hear about the progress on your chicken pox scars... i would love to diminish those four suckers I have on my forehead, even if my friends do say that they give my face character

I'll try the epidermx first and see how it goes and if all's well I'll order the big tub and maybe some camellia oil to boot.
I used it again last night after stopping for over a week, then applied Silkia camellia oil. This morning my face felt as smoooth as glass and my makeup went on so smoothly.
